Can't believe how much info is in the stickys. Wow! Would have saved me a ton of time. So with the waste spark ignition, is it possible that the module is defective if I am still getting spark at just one plug? Or is that enough to tell it's the coil?
Troubleshooting completed:
Coil Primary resistance- 3.5
Coil Secondary Resistance- Open
Both plug wires- Open (Confused)
I was able to use both plug wires on one tower and the gen would run on both cylinders. The same test on tower two, it would just turn over. Also, FWIW, I cannot access the P1 connector, so if there is any way to do this without that access it would be great. Relocation will be in the future.
Also, I'm using xfer switch ZTX10RM4BC-2 and it was not listened under xfer switches for this gen in the manual. I have not been able to get the exercise set. Most that happens is the upper light on gen side of the 5 light panel flashes red. It showed a digital timer in the manual that I thought matched the gen but this switch has no such technology. Only a 9V battery sticking out like a sore thumb in the corner. Thanks guys
